I have not tested it durability wise, but in the following ways, it is better than the official lifeproof brand case which I had been using for a year before I bought this one. 1, the price! You cannot beat it. It is more than $40 less! 2, it fits the phone way better! The screen on my lifeproof one had some funky thing with the screen that looked like a mix between a bubble and an oil spot, this one doesn’t do that and it looks perfectly clear. 3, it doesn’t hinder using speaker phone. I could not use speaker phone with the official lifeproof case because it muffled my voice too much. This one does not muffle my voice at all according to my friend who I did a call test with. 4, the charging port feels more secure.
