The texture looks like it would be grippy, it isn’t. Very slippery, hard plastic which is unfortunate.BUT very sturdy. Lip is high enough to protect screen, even with a glass screen protector, and cameras. The color is great and the wave pattern is awesomeIt was just what I wanted.This case works for an Iphone XR, but works. It protects well, however is hard to gold on to.This fits great and is an attractive case, but I could not press the side buttons. I have weakness in my hands so I’m sure it’s not the fault of the case. I did notice that does not cover the charging port or speaker part of the phone on the bottom. I had to return and order a different case.So I bought lifeproof because I previously owned a waterproof version and it fell out a 2 story window bounced off the car windshield then fell on the driveway pavement, and the phone was fine and the case didn’t even chip. But this isn’t waterproof and had to buy a screen protector since it doesn’t have a plastic covering. But looksNice. GoodFor the price.Love this case! It doesn’t have a scratch even though my phone gets passed around between my 3 kids under 8, multiple drops, etc. As it clearly states in the description, it does nothing to protect the screen. You WILL have to use a screen protector. I was switching from a completely enclosed case, but in the 6 weeks I’ve had it I have only cracked one screen protector.I must not have read the description correctly. This is just the bottom half of a case. The original life proof case I purchased was awesome and this one is only half of it. Not a great case, but not falling apart like the Fre ones I have purchased.When i received this i was impressed with how nice it looked and how well made it appears to be. But after ripping up the box and frowning it away i have since dropped my phone at least 3 times. The case material although is tough it is very slippery more so than just the phone. it will be £18 in the bin as i will not use it unless i decide i want to break my phone. So if you would like to break your phone buy one of these.HOW CAN A CASE MAKER THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE A CASE LIKE YOU HAVE BUTTER ON YOUR FINGERS LAUGHABLENice and sturdy but the material is quite slippery so be weary of how you hold your phone. DisappointedI dropped my phone onto concrete about 1m or less had a screen protector on my phone that slightly cracked and the case chipped slightly so not sure what I think. It is a very nice case to hold and I like the pattern.
