Let me start by saying I very rarely post reviews on Amazon – a product either has to be exceptionally good or exceptionally bad to move me to write a review. Also, I am very skeptical of most reviews, as it is difficult to tell which reviews are genuine. This review is written from the perspective of an average consumer here in the U.S. who ordered the product after researching many similar options, without any outside incentive to do so.I had been looking for a case for my new iPhone 11 that allowed me to carry my ID and a credit card. Most of these kinds of cases store the cards in the back of the cases, which usually negates the wireless charging feature. That led me to explore “folio” or “wallet” type cases that store card in the front flap. I also wanted a case that looked nice and was as slim as possible. The case I liked best is the “Apple Leather Folio, but unfortunately it is only available for the Pro model. Oh, and it also costs $100.So the search began for a reasonable facsimile of the Apple leather folio case. My requirements were as follows: 1) Capacity to store 2 or 3 cards. 2) Protective, but as slim as possible. 3) Compatible with wireless charger. 4) Cover that closes magnetically, but without a strap that would add extra bulk. 5) Good quality – doesn’t look cheap and plasticky, or rustic and homemade. 7) Inexpensive.I found many folio cases that fit most of the specifications, but some were too bulky, too expensive, looked cheap or ugly, had the strap closure that I don’t like, etc… I kept coming back to this Shieldon model; the reviews were pretty good, and it seemed to check most of the boxes. My only question is whether it would look cheap in person and if it would work with a wireless charger – the reviews have conflicting comments on the wireless charging. But it seemed the most promising of all the candidates, so I decided to give it a go.I received the case promptly and was impressed from the start. It comes in packaging that looks like it a would hold a more expensive product. The case itself looks like it should cost much more as well. There is nothing to make me think it isn’t genuine leather; it’s soft and supple but doesn’t feel at all delicate. I got the orangey color and was worried it might look cheap and shiny, but it is actually the perfect rich cognac/saddle brown that I was hoping for. Even the stitching is even and looks high-quality. My phone popped in easily, and everything lined up well and the buttons are still easy to push. The only giveaways that this product is of Chinese origin are the gimmicky “Shieldon” name and a stamp on the inside cover that says “feel the nature”… :)) So far so good!I inserted three credit cards and while the cover doesn’t close quite as tightly with them, the magnetic closure still holds securely. One slight negative is that where the ends of the credit cards stick out of the pockets, they do touch the screen. However, I have a tempered glass protector on my phone and am not worried about the cards rubbing on the screen and leaving marks. I don’t consider this a fault, as anything that would have prevented the cards from touching the screen would add more thickness. I think this case is as thin as you could make a folio case, so for me it’s perfect. If I were worried about the cards touching the screen, I could put them all in the larger inner pocket instead; I tried this and it actually allows the case to close more tightly than when the cards are in the individual slots. But again, with three cards in the individual slots it works just fine for me.As far as the level of protection, I think it will protect just as well as anything else short of a bulky, max protection kind of case. The leather cover of the case sticks out slightly around all of the edges, so if you drop it, it seems like that will provide additional cushioning for the impact.An unexpected bonus is that when you open the flap all the way, it sticks magnetically to the back of the case; it’s kind of nice not to have that flap swinging free. While of course you can’t take pictures with the flap in that position, if you are using the phone to take a picture you obviously wouldn’t fold the cover all the way around. I find taking pictures is very easy with the case, and it doesn’t block the lenses at all. In fact, it provides the lenses with very nice protection.The RFID protection isn’t something I really care about, but I can confirm that it works very well. I use my ID to scan into work, and with my ID in the case I can’t get it to scan no matter what pocket I have it in, or if the case is opened or closed. I opened the case and pushed the pocket right up against the scanner and it still won’t read.This brings us to the million dollar question… will it work with my cheap Anker wireless charger? I excitedly pulled out the charger, carefully positioned the phone in the center of the charger and… nothing. I tried moving it around, and still nothing. Very disappointed, I looked at my charger and realized the plug was coming out of the socket and the light wasn’t on. I pushed in the charger, tried repositioning the phone again, and bingo!!! It buzzed, the charging light came on, and the display confirmed it was charging. Yes!!! I don’t have to be super precise with it; I just center it and maybe move it a little until I feel the buzz and then it’s off to the races. Love it!!!The only unresolved issue is the durability of the case. Like I said, it seems to be very good quality and I don’t see anything that would indicate that it won’t hold up very well. But if it does somehow fall apart at some point, the description does say that the case has a lifetime warranty against defects. Whether that warranty would hold water, who knows, but at least it’s a nice assurance to have.On a side note, my wife didn’t know anything about the history of finding this case, but when I showed it to her she was very impressed and wanted to know how much I spent. She told me it was about time I got a nice looking case. I’ve only had the case a few weeks, but so far it is the favorite case I’ve ever had. If you’re in the market for a thin folio with the same specs I was looking for, buy it, you won’t regret it!This happens to be my second phone case, the only reason why I bought the second one is because after a few years my dog finally got to it and kind of chewed up one corner of it but I still used it until I realized I can buy another one and it can be delivered to my house in two days. Very very happy with this product I recommend it I love that it holds my credit cards and important business cards it’s got a little slot behind the card holders so you can Slide dinner receipts etc. It’s my wallet/Phone protector. I recommend it to allI purchased this about 3 years ago; it has held up incredibly well! I am only buying another one of their products due to upgrading my phone. You cannot go wrong purchasing their wallet phone cases. I don't carry a purse so find these very convenient and handy to use! They fit very comfortably in pockets!This case is a good value and nice quality especially light weight comfort with no bulkI was really surprised at how much I love this case. I’ve tried a bunch over the years and mostly just tolerate them until they fall apart and I can buy a new one. This one is nice and slim, holds 3 cards and I like to put cash in the pocket. It feels solid and well made (I’ve had it a few weeks now). Love the magnet closure and the general feel and functions. I would absolutely buy it again.I love my case but you can only hold a few cardsPretty color. SolidLove everything about it so far….
