Let me start off by saying that this case took forever to get to my doorstep. Not surprising since it came from China.For those worried about side protection, the case has a plastic piece that the phone snaps into that surrounds the stainless steel. The stainless steel does scratch easily so this is a plus. This is on top of the protection the case provides from the leather itself which does feel genuine. Although time will tell of it's real. I actually used leather care gel on it and the case is extremely shiny and a lot smoother. I recommend doing this once a month to make the case last longer. The magnetic snap does an amazing job keeping the front shut to prevent the screen from making contact with the ground during a fall. I do think though that it might be an early failure point as the snap is thin. I will update if the case wears down early. But for the money, even if it lasts a couple months, it payed for itself. Just order another. The case still looks new after a week of daily usage. I've gotten so many compliments. People are surprised when they here the price.Like it but won’t shut off the phone if you have even 1 card in the slots?So happy I bought this!
