The product is made well. On a sport bike for me it didn't provide any more comfort. Too much air and you're "wobbly" on your seat in addition to adding too much height. It should be barely inflated to get the best result I think. However for me, barely inflating it offered more relief on a bump but no more comfort after an hour ride. And in fact caused discomfort on the very insides of my legs.I'm not a big fan of this air type padding because the air moves around inside from front to back and side to side, and is more pronounced the more air is added. I think I'm going to look for more of a gel type setup next.I'm 6 ft 200lbs so maybe this just isn't suitable for my build.I bought this to help with tailbone pain on a Honda ADV 150. I've adjusted air and location several times with only marginal improvement - I'm going to try a gel pad next. I love to ride but the seat is still killing me. For reference, I'm 5'11" 160lbs with very little natural padding.I used the standard sized cushion on a 1.2k mile trip through Pakistan. I've had an 8 hour trip cause more butt/taint pain without the Airhawk than the total amount of discomfort that I experienced through this whole trip. The terrain ranged from paid roads, to sand, dirt and gravel, and everything in between. I definitely recommend this product. I wish I would have bought this sooner.I knocked one star for the durability because of the straps broke, but it stayed on the bike just fine with one strap. The seller was super responsive and quick to ship out replacement straps for the seat.easy to install and use, but no difference on the longer rides, tail still soreThis truly is the first review I’ve done where five stars isn’t enough! I went on a long motorcycle ride with this and put 10,000 miles on my bike in less than a month. This seat saved my butt, literally! No issues at all. Just remember, as you descend in elevation you may need to add more air, and then take it back out as you ascend. Find your sweet spot on the air and you’ll be comfortable the whole day.So, I did use it a few times on a 2,300 mile trip. This improves the comfort by 10-20% so definitely not worth the price. I did try the air pressure to the absolute minimum and that seems to be just perfect. If it has just a little bit of air it will push up on your buns after a while and it is very uncomfortable. If you inflate it too much it feels like you are sitting on a balloon and not on your bike. I found that if the air pressure is not perfect it is distracting and you are just focusing on that vs. the road. I am obviously getting a new seat for my bike, this was just a temporary solution as the trip was coming up. Also, if you have a big behind, this will be too small and you will feel the edges. I am an average weight and size and it felt too small.Adds a lot of comfort for the long ridesI bought this out of curiosity, fully expecting also to try a sheepskin and some roller beads too. People seem either to love these cushions or they just don't. I had no idea what to expect when I tried it out for the first time, and I was disappointed. It's not like sitting on a magic carpet. But, that's not really the point. I have a few hundred miles on mine now, and I've come to love and appreciate it. First, you have to fiddle with air pressures a bit to get it set up properly for your body. Less air is generally better than more. Once you've done that, that magic of this thing isn't that you feel like you're in a comfy lounge chair; it's that after two hours on your bike you don't feel like you're sitting on a rock.I like mine and use it all the time. If you buy one, take the time to fiddle with air pressures until you get it where you like it. Then, don't judge it based on a ride around town. Get out on the road and do a few hundred miles, and then be amazed that your butt isn't killing you.I ride a 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000LT. The riding position is pretty upright. I'm a tall guy, and I've adjusted the bike so it fits me well to start with. If you throw this cushion on a bike expecting it to fix basic ergonomic problems, or if you expect it to do something special on trips around town, you may be disappointed. If you like to get on a well set up bike and do a few hundred miles at a time, you may really appreciate it.This cushion gets four stars from me. It's well-made, but at $108 it's a pricey gamble for most folks. At $69.95 it would be a five-star no-brainer.
