Went a half size down on this boot. I usually wear a 10.5 in boots but with western boots I find a 9.5 is perfect. This boot was not too small, not too large and just narrow enough for a perfect fit. The break in period was as expected, a good two-three weeks of wearing and working in to get a good lift in the sole and tighten the fit even more. The sole is well made, the leather mixed in with the rubber material allows for a thinner sole bottom but with plenty of traction and molding of your foot gate. Love them!
